Jazz Cymbals

Introduced in 2016, the Jazz series is a combination of 1960's sounds with Heartbeat's modern approach. Hand crafted and hand hammered in Turkey.

This project started in 2005 when Heartbeat initiated a project with a cymbal manufacturer to recreate a famous ride cymbal used by a famous artist on a famous album released in 1967. While that manufacturer agreed to produce a limited quantity of those cymbals, it never became a regular catalogue item for that manufacturer. As circumstances and events change, Heartbeat and that company ended their relationship and Heartbeat cymbals were introduced to the world in 2010.

In 2014, Heartbeat revived the project. Two years later, we are very happy to present the finalized product... the new Heartbeat Jazz Rides! These not only brings the elements of the sounds of late '60s progressive jazz giants like Tony Williams, Billy Cobham, Jack DeJohnette, but it adds a unique Heartbeat flavor in both sound and appearance.

In 2017, the series is expanding to include hi-hats and crash cymbals.

Unique hammering and lathing, Heartbeat dark red logos. A very special series from Heartbeat Percussion!
