The master technicians of Peace studied the classics
of the past to create their own vision of the future:
Paragon Series All Maple Drums.
Using
only the finest Canadian rock maple, the Paragon
shells are formed, treated and finished by hand,
one at a time. The inner shells and bearing edges
are form finished and then sealed repeatedly. This
process of evolution assures proper air flow and
unrestricted vibration to the shell.
This
series features the Lug Integrated Floating Tom
Suspension (LIFTS) system. Re-thinking a classic
in mounting technology, LIFTS fuses our Crescent
Tom Mount with the shaft of the Deus two-way micro
tube lug, pulling the rubber isolated contact points
away from the tension rods. LIFTS not only assures
less stress to crucial tuning points, but also makes
changing heads while the tom is mounted a reality.
Paragon
drums feature nine-ply maple shells, REMO Power
Strok 3 clear batter and Ebony resonant bass drum
heads, REMO PinStripe clear heads on toms, Weatherking
coated and Amb. Hazy heads on the snare drum.
HBW
stocks 5 piece drum packs featuring 22x18 bass,
16x14 floor tom, 12x9 and 10x8 tom toms and 6.5x14
snare. Optional single toms are usually available
from stock (check for availability).
Bass
drums are stocked without tom holders. HBW recommends
using double tom stands ($75.00 each) or clamps
for mounting toms from cymbal stands ($29.00 each
clamp)
